After one night together Natalie gets pregnant and now, she, Alex, and his two children need to navigate this new reality together. Oh, and she happens to be his son’s new elementary school teacher.

It took me a while to get through this book. While it is a sweet romance, it also has heavy themes of abuse, death, and grief and reading it while PMSing didn’t help with the crying. So, if you plan to read this book, make sure you have tissues ready.

You should also go into the book with an open mind, especially with the parts where Alex hears his dead wife talking to him. I’m kind of spiritual, so I had no issues with these parts, but I know there are some people who would find it silly.
