After Everly escapes her uncle’s study she lands up being caught by the third man that was at the church the night of her accident, who just happens to be the chief of police, who has called her uncle.

The men have Everly handcuffed and whisked away in a van. Meanwhile, the Boneyard Kings are dealing with the mayor who has been shot by Lorenzo.

Everly is left in the basement of the church by her uncle and the police chief, and when they can’t get hold of her, the Boneyards Kings looking for her and end up learning about the incident earlier that day from one her uncle’s maids.

Through their contacts throughout the Southside, the kings find out that the van Everly was taken in was seen at the church. When they get there, they find the basement and save Everly and take her back to the junkyard to keep her safe and plan their next move.

They do eventually take down the organ trade ring, but I won’t give away all the twists and turns that happen to get to this ending.

While this is classified as more of a dark romance, then ending is sweet and reading Everly, Mateo, Callum, and Saint’s love story makes you feel like good can overcome evil no matter the stakes involved.

I hope you enjoyed this series as much as I did.
