The new box containing the sis has been stolen by Zeus, Cronus is in the seventh ring of the underworld, and Maisey and Hyoerion are travelling the underworld to bring him back to life.

As they make their way through the fifth and sixth ring, Maisey starts to develop gifts, and once they’re in the seventh ring they find Cronus and Rhea, who informs Maisey that she’s pregnant and it’s the baby’s power.

Hyperion and Maisey make it back to Earth as Cronus and Rhea battle Zeus, who’s wearing the necklace and using dark magic, and they resurrect Cronus and Rhea. Maisey also finds out in a funny way, that her baby can transport her across the world.

To get the box of sins back, Cronus decides to challenge Zeus to ancient Greek games, where the Titans go up against the Greek Gods. Trial one is hand to hand combat, trial two is demon slaying, and trial three is a treasure hunt. Zeus adds his own terms, that if the Gods win, he gets Maisey and her baby.

The Titans win the games, the gods attack them, and Maisey’s baby transports her and the box to a cabin in a snowy region. Maisey falls asleep and when she wakes, there is no longer any snow but rather a burnt looking landscape. She’s attacked in the cabin and forced to leave; the landscape keeps changing. She eventually makes it back to Cronus, who comes up with a plan to contain the sins.

This is one of the sweetest books I have ever read, and I’m so happy I decided to read this series. I loved how Maisey thinks in the form of hashtags, and how strong and resourceful their unborn child is.
