Three weeks after Cronus has left Maisey, she returns to her life in Santa Barbara, being a waitress, constantly looking at the selfie of her and Cronus, and wondering how the Titans are defeating the sins without her and the necklace.
One night Cronus sends the Titan Rhea to check on Maisey, and while Maisey gets her drunk (this is a really funny part) Zeus shows up and tells her that he wants the necklace. Rhea transports them away from Zeus, but Maisey is left with more questions.
Cronus returns to Maisey to continue helping him trap the sins, he is cold towards her which just makes her angry but she reluctantly agrees to help.
One of the Fates shows up and tells Maisey that her thread ends the next day, this prompts the Titans and Maisey to seek out Selene in the underworld, who tells Maisey she must transfer the necklace to Cronus so he can take in the sins.
With Maisey’s help, the Titans subdue Zeus and lock him away in the same prison world Zeus locked Cronus in. The War sin is at the brink of causing a world war, and even though she isn’t meant to take in any more sins, Maisey, leaves Cronus and travels with another Titan to capture War.
Narida manages to extract War and Jealously from Maisey and Cronus now wears the necklace conduit. Hephaestus makes Cronus new box to contain the sins, and all the Titans and Maisey set off to find and destroy the last four sins. They manage to get all the sins into the new box, with Death being the last, which kills Cronus as the box was sabotaged by some of the Greek Gods.
I have read a few books by both these authors, and they have never disappointed me, and keeping to that this series is on par with their other books. The writing is spectacular, and the plot is original. I definitely recommend this series if you’re in the mood for a good Greek Mythology series.
