Ryder and Kira’s love story is an epic one of two single parents coming together to create a new family for their daughters. While he heals her soul, she makes him trust and love again.
The way the author wrote Ryder’s character truly makes him the type of man any woman would want to be. He’s kind and thoughtful and one hell of a dad.
This book left me with all the feelings. I laughed, cried, and fell head-over-heels in love with these characters and didn’t want the book to end.
By the end of the book, you truly feel like you’ve come to know these characters intimately and end up rooting for the cliché nanny, employer scenario.
I have read a lot of books by Nikki Ash, and she has become one of my favorite authors. So, if you are looking for a feel good, easy-to-read Sunday afternoon novel, then I highly recommend this book. If you’re looking for a super spicy book, then this isn’t the one for you, although there are a few spicy scenes.
The book contains trigger warnings, if you are or have been in an abusive relationship, please take note that the story centers around past abuse.
