Celebrating the conclusion of her latest project, interior designer Tess Truelove decides to end her time in Tennessee with a one-night stand with the rugged widower Solomon Wilder, what she didn’t expect was for that interaction to lead to her biggest job yet - becoming a mother.

Solomon leaves his mountain in Chinook to research bars in hopes of repairing his and his best friend’s bar. Still grieving the loss of his wife after seven years, Solomon never expects to meet anyone on their recon mission, that is until he sees Tess.

After a passionate night together, Tess and Solomon don’t leave a way foe either of them to contact one another and finds out Tess is pregnant when he sees her on TV being interviewed for a celebrity interior design contract she completed. This spurs him to fly to LA to find Tess and confront her about the baby.

Before he can talk to Tess, he is intercepted by her cousin Ash, who informs him that she and Tess were meant to go on a babymoon together, but she gives up her spot for Solomon to take, and from there the hilariousness and emotions ensue as Tess and Solomon get to know one another.

This was a really sweet book and is a great read when you need something comforting that makes you feel all the emotions. It was well written with an original storyline but has the classic happily ever after.
