At almost nine months pregnant, Chelsea is forced to move across the country after her baby’s father dies, and his brother starts harassing her. Little does Chelsea know that she is about to move in next door to alphas who are not only mercenaries but also her fated mates.

With her furniture set to arrive the day after she does, the three alphas encourage her to stay in their guest room where she’ll have warmth and a proper bed. Kase, Arden, and Lincoln quickly become attached to Chelsea and look for ways to keep her in their home.

When they find out why she moved, they explain who they are and what they do and offer her protection and to find out why her baby’s uncle is stalking her.

They make their intentions to court her clear and are in the room for the birth of her daughter, which they now see as theirs and eventually bond.

I left out a lot of the more intricate details but just wanted to give you a quick overview of this book. I have read it a few times when I just want a feelgood story.

Kase is my favorite character in this book, his slightly psychotic ways truly added comedic relief to an otherwise serious book. I think my favorite part was when he seriously considered burning her house down so she would move in with them.

When She Needs Them Most is the perfect balance between sweet, spicy, and swoon worthy. Jillian has an uncanny way of creating characters and worlds we don’t want to leave behind.
