This book follows the story of Quincy, who while looking after her grandmother meets Ridge, spends the night with him, gets called back to her grandmother’s home the next morning to find she’s passed, and forgets to leave Ridge a way to contact her.

Quincy gets a job, waitressing, while pregnant and not knowing that while she was searching for Ridge, he had plans to get back to Vermont to see her again, but his work with Shadow Security (you may remember this name from Jillian West’s previous omegaverse books) has him travelling all over the world.

At eight and a half months pregnant, Quincy has a regular, Trigg, that comes to the restaurant for her every shift and just happens to be Ridge’s boss’s half-brother. Trigg has also developed feelings for Quincy, not to mention her boss Hartley.

When Hartley finds out that Quincy’s pregnancy could become complicated due to the lack of Alpha pheromones, he becomes her roommate.

Three Alphas, who are so different, being in love with this pregnant omega makes this a book filled with both funny and serious moments.

Trigg is definitely my favorite character in this books, between him being a psychopath and soft stalker, he’s also really sweet and truly cares for Quincy and the baby.

True to her writing style, Jillian has created another fan-favorite world to escape into while you leave reality and your worries behind.

Jillian is truly a master of writing intriguing, sweet and spicy omegaverse novels that keep you enthralled and entertained.
