The book ends on a cliffhanger where Hayden is involved in a car accident, which was deliberate and is kidnapped.

This book was really sweet in the sense that Hayden starts to heal from her own past trauma and helps her mates heal from theirs. Although they still have a long road ahead of them.

The last book in the series is Dawn of Flames.
