Luna Collins, born on the Southside, has one hope of getting away from her parents that have sold her heats to various betas and an alpha, and that is to run away. She does this in the middle of the night and is found by four alphas who happen to be her scent matches and live in the Northside.

Due to her irregular hormones and trauma, she is unable to identify the alphas as her matches and ends up being taken to the omega center, where she is forced to be registered. Once she is on the right medication, she’s able to scent the alphas as hers and during her debut into society she has a heat spike and ends up spending the night with her pack.

The alpha, who is from Northside that is responsible for her initial captivity has not given up on claiming her, and now it is up to her new pack to keep her safe.

There are many triggers in this book such as physical and substance abuse, and cult-like brainwashing.

While this book does have a happy ending for Luna, her journey was both heartwarming and soul crushing at the same time. There were so many times I wanted to climb into the book and smack some of the characters upside the head, while wanting to wrap Luna in a big hug

The book is beautifully written and definitely worth a second read.
