We are back with the second part of Wren and the Diablos Pack’s story. In the first book, the story ended on the cliffhanger of Wren being kidnapped by the bikers that are the enemy to the Diablos Pack.
Once they have rescued Wren, the men realize just how far they have fallen for the little shifter hybrid. They all slowly start to make amends with her, and the bonding process begins. Wren’s father locates her, and after failing to force her back to his pack he puts a $10 000000 bounty on her head, and this causes many in the supernatural world to go after her.
By the end of the book Ender is the only pack member that hasn’t expressed his feelings towards Wren, but before he can, the bar owned by the pack is set on fire and Wren is taken by her father. This is where this book ends off, with the Diablos Pack left with the knowledge that their soulmate is back in the hands of her abuser who has promised to breed and then kill her.
What I love about this book is that Wren is forgiving, she doesn’t make the men in her life grovel for forgiveness, because she empathizes with where they’re coming from. She also doesn’t allow the kidnaping for run-in with her father to break her, but rather it makes her more determined to be able to protect herself in all ways possible.
