Maisie’s mother, Caroline, comes back into the picture after abandoning her and threatens to take Maisie away unless the cowboys give her the ranch. To prevent this, the Blackwood pack and Piper decide to bond to show the courts that they are an established pack.

A few months after finding out that Piper is pregnant, the pack also learns that Caroline has teamed up with Piper’s former pack and that is them that want the ranch.

I’m not going to give away much more, but I can assure you that this book has a sweet Happily Ever After and is such a joy to read. I love all of Melissa’s Omegaverse books, she is such a talented writer, and all her books leave you with the warm and fuzzies.

The way she comes up with characters that are not only endearing but have a way of coming together in difficult times and helping one another heal, is truly an amazing feat.
